The Plymouth Brethren Christian Church is a Christian fellowship driven by care and compassion.
Members of the Church have lived and worked in East Hampshire for over 100 years, with its UK heritage spanning over 200 years. We are committed to serving our local communities, including through extensive charitable and philanthropic activities.
Embedded in the local community
The Church has an established record of supporting the local community in Grayshott and the surrounding East Hampshire area. This includes through the Rapid Relief Team, a charity made up of volunteers from the Church.
From serving meals to key workers at Royal Surrey County Hospital, to donating Food Boxes to the community, and supporting emergency incidents including in Petersfield, the Church has made a significant positive impact in the local area.
The local South Downs congregation has also been an active and supportive member to the village for many years, from repairing the wall and reinstating the railings at the much-loved War Memorial in Grayshott following damage, supporting at numerous Grayshott Parish Council community events over the years, all the way to donating over £19,000 to local hospice charity, Phyllis Tuckwell.
The new Gospel Hall represents an important opportunity to continue to support these charitable and community efforts by serving as a place which is better suited to coordinate this activity in Grayshott and the surrounding areas.
As a public place of worship, the local community will also be able to visit the Gospel Hall. There will also be opportunities for the new Hall to further support local community activities.
