Grayshott Gospel Hall

A renewed place of worship

The Plymouth Brethren Christian Church is bringing forward proposals to renew its existing place of worship in Grayshott on land off Headley Road.

The new Gospel Hall will see the remediation of land where the existing building and car park frontage lie to deliver an attractive new, purpose-built, Gospel Hall. This would continue to serve local members of the Church and facilitate its positive social impact in the Grayshott and wider East Hampshire area for years to come.

As part of the vision the Church is seeking to enhance the site’s natural surroundings, including strengthening the Grayshott – Headley Down Local Gap.

Following extensive and positive pre-application discussions with East Hampshire District Council, the local Church congregation now wishes to bring forward a full application for a new Gospel Hall.

Our proposals have been designed to be sensitive and appropriate for the site, while improving the site’s surrounding natural landscape.

Ahead of submitting a planning application, the Church is keen to receive feedback on the proposals to deliver this new, purpose-built, place of worship. A public consultation has been launched to offer local residents and businesses an opportunity to see the emerging proposals and submit their feedback.

The public consultation is open between 3rd February and 9th March.

Feedback from the local community is very important to the Church and all comments received during the consultation will be carefully reviewed by the project team.

Details on how to submit comments can be found on the Your Feedback page.
